Exploring Artists

Teacher: ...and the suprise is: It's not really PAINT at all. It's icing! 

During our first class, students investigated Wayne Thiebaud's Three Gumball Machines and were challenged to mix the colours in the painting. The wonder on the student's faces at the magic of colours changing as they mixed was beautiful -and even more so when they discovered that the paint was not paint at all, but rather icing... and they could eat their art!
